We’re currently looking for new committee members to help shape the next chapter of the North Wales Women in Construction Network.
We want people who are genuinely keen to get involved, bring ideas, take ownership and help us build a network that continues to grow and deliver real value for women working in, or looking to join, the construction industry.
Being part of the committee will mean more than simply attending the occasional meeting. We need active members who can commit some time, contribute to discussions and help deliver the activities that keep the network moving forward, whether that is events, communications, membership, mentoring, partnerships, funding or engagement with colleges and industry.
You do not need to have previous committee experience. What matters is that you are willing to contribute, work as part of the team and help us shape what the network becomes in the future.
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing the typical committee roles we are looking to fill, together with a short role description so that people can see what each area may involve and where their skills or interests could fit.
Once those roles have been advertised, we will arrange informal discussions with everyone who has expressed an interest so we can talk through the opportunities, understand what people would like to contribute and make sure expectations are clear on both sides.
If you would like to be part of it, we would love to hear from you.
